Kungskvarnen's restaurant is located on an island 500 meters from Borgviks marina, upstream of Borgviksälven. During the summer, we open up for diners and coffee every day from 12:00. In the restaurant, we offer Swedish meat, home-baked, homemade and locally produced as much as possible. Chicken and pork come from Sweden. Lamb, beef and game meat come from the family's farm which is located between Borgvik and Grums. in the summer graze some of the lambs and ewes grazing around the hotel.
Fall asleep and wake up like royalty in the King's Mill
If you do not want to camp or sleep in the boat at the guest marina, you can enjoy a comfortable bed and a private bathroom at The Kungskvarnen (King's Mill) Hotel. There are three family rooms and four large double rooms in the old inn on Rallvägen. In addition, there are 20 smaller rooms in the two wooden lengths next to Kungskvarnen. Breakfast is served in The Kungskvarnen Restaurant, and if the sun is shining you can enjoy it on the veranda next to the rippling river. The breakfast is of course course included for hotel guests, but camping and boat guests who also want to enjoy a good breakfast are warmly welcome to make a breakfast reservation here.
